We’re committed to keeping our fees fair, simple, and transparent.
So more goes to what truly matters

As a social venture, we prioritise doing good over making profit.
It’s FREE for hosts to create and manage events on our platform and FREE for charities to be featured on our website, but like any online service, we have some essential running costs.
We don’t take a cut from the charity or host — they receive 100% of their share. To support our mission and keep the platform running smoothly, we charge guests a small platform fee of 2% + $1 (incl. GST) of their total contribution.
In addition, a payment processing fee of 1.7% + 30c (incl. GST) per transaction is charged by Stripe, our trusted payment gateway partner.

Who pays the fee?
Guests who choose to contribute to a Party4Purpose event are kindly asked to leave a tip to cover the platform fee.
Why the guests?
Because guests benefit too — in more ways than one:
- For the portion of their contribution that goes to the selected charity, guests receive a tax-deductible receipt — meaning they can enjoy the joy of giving and a financial benefit at tax time.
- No more rushing through shopping centres or paying for expensive last-minute delivery—one simple contribution takes care of everything
- No need to buy a physical card — guests can leave a personal message for the host directly on our platform.
We’re committed to keeping our fees fair and transparent, and to ensuring that as much impact as possible goes directly to great causes. That’s why we don’t charge any fees to our participating charities.
